CAUTION
When a fuse box lid is removed, take care to protect the box from moisture. Refit the lid at the earliest opportunity.

Access can be gained to the fuses, as follows:

1. Loadspace fuse box: Turn the catch 90° counter-clockwise and remove the rear access panel.
2. Slide the top catch rearward.
3. Grasp the top of the forward access panel, and remove by pulling sharply.

When refitting the access panel, make sure the securing pegs are aligned with their respective holes, before pushing the panel fully home. The refit procedure is the reverse of the removal procedure.

4. A label, located to the side of the fuse box, shows the circuits protected and the fuse locations.

5. Passenger compartment fuse box: Open the glovebox. Firmly press the top of the support stay at each end and lower the glovebox into the footwell. A label on the front of the fuse access panel shows the circuits protected and the fuse locations. Remove the panel to gain access to the fuses.

6. Engine compartment fuse box: Remove the under-bonnet cover.

7. Lift up the edge of the leaf screen panel just enough to allow removal of the fuse box cover.

8. Remove the fuse box cover, by releasing the clips on each end. A label on the inside of the cover shows the circuits protected and the fuse locations.

REPLACING A FUSE

CAUTION
Always switch off the ignition system and the affected electrical circuit before replacing a fuse. Failure to do so could cause damage to the vehicle.

CAUTION
Fit approved replacement fuses of the same rating and type, or fuses of a matching specification. Using an incorrect fuse may result in damage to the vehicle's electrical system and can result in a fire.

CAUTION
If the replacement fuse blows after fitment, the system should be checked by a retailer/authorised repairer. Further damage could be caused to the vehicle if ignored.

NOTES
Relays and fuses not detailed in this Owner's Handbook should only be replaced by qualified persons.

A break in the wire inside the fuse indicates that the fuse has blown and must be replaced. Use the fuse puller provided to remove the fuse from the fuse box.
