FUSES REPLACEMENT
GENERAL INFORMATION
Fuses protect the electrical system:
they intervene (blow) in the event of a failure or improper action on the system.
Check the state of the corresponding fuse when a device does not work:
the filament (A) should be intact. If it is not, replace the blown fuse with another with the same amperage (same colour).
A - Good Fuse, C -Bloawn Fuse, D- Fuse Puller |
(B) = intact fuse;
(C) = fuse with damaged filament.
To facilitate fuse replacement, use the tongs (D) hooked inside the fusebox lid on the dashboard left-hand side.
Refer to the tables on the following pages to identify the protective fuse.For fuse replacement, contact a Fiat Dealership.
The fusebox is located on the lower left side of the dashboard .
Remove the dashboard panel to access the fusebox.
(C) = fuse with damaged filament.

DASHBOARD FUSE BOX
The fusebox is located on the lower left side of the dashboard .
Remove the dashboard panel to access the fusebox.

MOTOR COMPARTMENT FUSE BOX
The fusebox is located behind the DC/DC converter.
WARNING
- If the replaced fuse blows again, contact a Fiat Dealership.
- If the replaced fuse blows again, contact a Fiat Dealership.
- Never replace a faulty fuse with metal wires or anything else.
- Never replace a fuse with another with a higher amp rating; RISK OF FIRE.
- If a general fuse (MEGA-FUSE, MIDIFUSE, MAXI-FUSE) blows contact a Fiat Dealership.
- Contact Fiat Dealership if a safety system (airbags, brakes), engine system (engine, gearbox) or steering system general protection fuse blows.
- Never replace a fuse with another with a higher amp rating; RISK OF FIRE.
- If a general fuse (MEGA-FUSE, MIDIFUSE, MAXI-FUSE) blows contact a Fiat Dealership.
- Contact Fiat Dealership if a safety system (airbags, brakes), engine system (engine, gearbox) or steering system general protection fuse blows.
IMPORTANT
- If you need to wash the engine compartment, take care not to directly hit the engine compartment fusebox with the water jet.
